Tarpon Springs is a sleepy little Greek town near Tampa, Florida. It has the most amazing Greek food and a fascinating history. Known as the "sponge capital of the world," the town's economy used to subsist of sponge diving. It was about an hour's drive from Orlando to Tarpon Springs, a little bit past Tampa.
