At Disney's Polynesian Resort. "Mele kalikimaka" means Merry Christmas in Hawaiian. I was transported to Hawaii when I was checking out the Christmas trees at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Their tree decorations tied in to their Hawaiian theme with beautiful tropical flowers. 🌺🎄🌼🌴🌊

At Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. They build a life size gingerbread house every year, and it takes them about four months to make it from start to finish. It was a magical day spent rediscovering these hidden places. I've been coming here since I was a child but it is quite a different experience to come back grown up.

One of the benefits in coming back as an adult was being able to try Mizner's Lounge, a cute little cafe tucked away in one of the corners of the hotel. More details on this in my upcoming article on Holiday Bars in Orlando.

Hat by H&M, bag by Juicy Couture. Coat is vintage.

Last year I dressed up as the Spirit of Christmas.

Here's one of the trees at Disney Springs. Stay tuned for an upcoming article on the Disney Springs Christmas Tree Trail, a collection of movie themed trees on display!
