From my photoshoot at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando for the online boutique Herachic. I'm wearing a dress by Betsey Johnson, one of my favorite designers. She is known for her "feminine and whimsical designs," which cater to a maximalist aesthetic. It has a floral print of ephemeral blue roses with leaves set on a black background. I really like this graphic print because it has an element of pop art and hyper photo-realism while still looking like a painting. It's a very unique print and is made even more interesting as the blue rose is not found in nature. However, it is a recurring theme in Western culture and is associated with theories of the future and modernism.
My friend Daniel had the idea to utilize his car for the shoot, and it added a nice touch.
