30th Anniversary of the Jack Kerouac Project

Jack Kerouac was one of the great beatnik writers and he lived in a house in Winter Park, Florida for part of his career. This is where he penned The Dharma Bums. The house is now an area of historical significance and has been turned into the Writers in Residence Program, a foundation for contemporary writers today. For each season, a different writer lives in the house in exchange for working on a novel.
