Fall Eats

I've been in the mood for ramen lately, authentic ramen from Japan and I also tried some Indonesian style noodles as well that were pretty good with sesame oil. Since then I've been putting sesame oil in almost all of my bowlsThe seafood themed ramen from Japan was also quite satisfying and I've been on a ramen kick trying different types of authentic ramen flavors from different parts of the world.

I also tried some Liuzhou snail noodles and it was surprisingly good but I did remove some of the ingredients that had a strong smell like vinegar or a mystery ingredient. The dish tastes completely different than what it smells like and is much better hot than at room temperature. I found this pack at my local Asian supermarket.

My family and I made some oven-baked bread that is honestly pretty easy to make. The hardest part is getting the bread to rise because you have to let it wait and work it's magic for a few hours in the refrigerator. When you bake the dough with steam in the oven it forms that nice crispy crust that cracks and crunches so well.

To go with the freshly baked bread my family and I made a mega salad loaded with fresh veggies and egg with a fresh oil and vinegar dressing. They paired very well, I was so happy it all came out so good!
