Guide to Disney After Hours: Hollywood Studios

Katrina-Belle-Beauty-Disney-Blogger

More fun at Disney After Hours, this time at Hollywood Studios! It was my first time visiting Toy Story Land, because every time I had checked the Disney Parks app the wait time had been at least 80 minutes! At After Hours it was only 5 minutes 😱😍

It was so much fun! The classic Slinky Dog Dash roller coaster, the Alien Swirling Saucers, and a ride I had never seen on a blog or vlog called Toy Story Mania. It’s a 4D interactive game where the cart moves you around to different 3D screens and you have to either pop the balloons, break the plates, aim the rings over one of the little vending machine aliens, and other cool challenges! My boyfriend and I got pretty competitive, I didn’t make it easy haha!

The Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater has always been a favorite of mine. It recreates the 1950’s pastime of drive-in dining. Your table looks like a car and they play vintage films while you eat. It’s fun to do what my grandparents did back in the day. The Muppet Vision 3D show at Hollywood Studios was always a childhood favorite of mine, and it’s still funny after all these years! Hollywood Studios also features the always classic Tower of Terror, which was decorated with a light projection to look like a Pixar style Toy Hotel. Check out the YouTube video to see what I'm talking about! For Star Wars fans, the Star Tours ride takes you across the galaxy. I can't wait for the new Star Wars expansion for the park to open up! I really hope to get to go to the opening! There was also no wait for the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, an Aerosmith themed indoor rollercoaster that is one of the fastest in the world with a max speed of 57 miles per hour. This ride has more G's than a real rocket launch.

The area was so clear of guests during After Hours it felt like we had the whole section of the park to ourselves, and it was beautiful all lit up at night. The event runs almost every weekend through April 13th. You can find tickets here. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members get a discount on their tickets. Once you have your ticket, you can enter the park at 7pm while the park is still open, and see the evening shows. After Hours officially starts at 8:30pm and goes till 11:30, or from 9 till midnight on certain special dates.

See even more of the event in the YouTube video posted above!
