I Rented $37,000 Worth of Clothes From Rent the Runway in a Year

I'm going to share where I find a lot of my blogger outfits. I've been a member of Rent the Runway for about a year now and it's been a glamorous experience wearing so many designer outfits! Rent the Runway is a fashion subscription service, giving you access to a dream closet four items at a time. Each item comes dry cleaned in a sealed plastic bag on a hanger. With the Unlimited plan you can rent four items at a time. The most frequent option is dresses but they also have bags, tops, pants, some athletic wear, and accessories like necklaces and earrings. Shipping is included in monthly rate and a printed return label is included in the shipment. You just slide the label into the front of the bag, fold the dresses and hangers back in the fabric garment bag and it's ready to ship. Once you mail back your shipment and it is processed as returned, you can select four new pieces to rent.

This service is absolutely perfect as a fashion blogger as I often need a unique dress for a special occasion that I will not wear again. The only drawback I’ve had while being a member of RTR is sometimes the processing time when you return items takes a long time. The only thing I would change is a faster return rate so that I could rent more items!

Their service is perfect for when you need a nice dress for attending a friend's wedding, for date night attire, a graduation, fashionable and appropriate outfits for work, a velvet dress for the holidays or when you need a sparkly sequin dress for New Year's Eve. They also have my favorite pair of comfy green athletic pants with pockets by Kinly. They have a long list of designers available, including 7 For All Mankind, Reformation, Amanda Uprichard, Proenza Schouler, Marchesa Notte, Badgley Mischka, Elliat, Cinq a Sept, Rachel Zoe, Cushnie, Jason Wu, Christian Siriano, ML Monique Lhuillier, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Diane von Furstenberg, Halston, Coach, Tory Burch, Alexa Chung, Club Monaco, cupcakes and cashmere, Kendall + Kylie, and their own line Slate & Willow. They even have a new kids collection from designers like Chloé and Fendi. The dress in the photo above is by Christian Siriano, and below is a selection of some of my RTR outfits with the designer listed below the photo. If you want to join Rent the Runway you can use my code here, and right now they're doing a Cyber Monday sale for the Unlimited Subscription where you get 50% off your first month of Unlimited with code TBC, so it's a great time to join!
