Surf Expo

Film screening brings awareness to American epidemic

The other week I went to a screening of @heroinfilm, directed by @spencerfolmar, the brother of the awesome mom blogger @ambershimel. It was a deep story of how addiction affects families and entire towns, and they will be screening at different locations throughout the new year. Drawing in the Galleries at the Orlando Museum of Art

Went to the @orlandomuseumofart and they are doing art in the galleries! You can sketch what inspires you, and they will even provide the sketching materials. IQ Gastronomic Festival

Penguin Encounter at SeaWorld Orlando: Behind the Scenes Tour

I took a behind the scenes tour at SeaWorld Orlando to meet some penguins! The tour lasts about twenty to thirty minutes, one of the animal experts gives the tour group some info on penguins, and then it opens up for questions and photos. They handled the photo section very well by queuing everyone up and having people go one at a time, that way everyone got a photo and it was very orderly and convivial. The Escape Game on IDrive Orlando

Had fun at @theescapegameorlando! Teams of up to eight people join forces for an hour of non stop puzzles, finding clues and solving them! There are a few different scenarios to choose from, such as the Gold Rush or a Mars Mission. Our scenario was the Heist, where we had to find a priceless Monet painting that had been stolen! Don Julio's Authentic Mexican Food

The food at @donjuliosmexican is phenomenal! Sitting outside gave such a nice atmosphere. The Mexican street corn was full of flavourful spices, cut by the creamy sauce poured over it, and served grilled and sizzling. The shrimp stuffed avocado was both healthy and delicious, I could eat that every day. In contrast, the fried ice cream was drool worthy and an amazing indulgent treat. Overall, would go again! Seven Seas Festival at SeaWorld Orlando

Inspired by international street food, the Seven Seas Food Festival lets you sip and sample delicious selections from all around the world. Some of the #otownbloggersquad had an amazing time at the #sipandmingle conference! It was run by the amazing Simple and Pretty Co. and TaraMetBlog. It was wonderful to see them again, as I had met them on my Naples trip a few months ago. There were bloggers from all across the state at the event, including Tampa, Naples, Orlando, Ft.
