Went to the @orlandomuseumofart and they are doing art in the galleries! You can sketch what inspires you, and they will even provide the sketching materials. It’s included with a membership to the Orlando Museum of Art. Definitely feeling inspired. I haven’t drawn in a while, and I pulled my drawing skills out of long term memory. When it’s been a long time since I have done something sometimes I worry that I have lost what I have learned. Do you ever have that fear? I took
I took a behind the scenes tour at SeaWorld Orlando to meet some penguins! The tour lasts about twenty to thirty minutes, one of the animal experts gives the tour group some info on penguins, and then it opens up for questions and photos. They handled the photo section very well by queuing everyone up and having people go one at a time, that way everyone got a photo and it was very orderly and convivial. The tour group meets near the back of the park and then you get to go to
Taste! Central Florida is coming up next month! It is a multimillion dollar fundraiser that helps thousands of people every year, with Second Harvest Food Bank @feedhopenow. They distributed 58 million meals just last year. It’s for an amazing cause and a very fun event that will have over 40 different restaurants participating. It’s hosted inside the World Center Marriott and you walk around to see all the different vendors and pick which food you would like! Cuba Libre will
I had an amazing time in my first ever surf lesson with @ragansurfs! In the morning on the beach in front of the beautiful @shoresresort we went over safety, technique and style, and practiced the surfer pop-up technique to stand up on the board. When we went out into the water he helped me catch a lot of waves, and gave helpful feedback each time on how to improve even more. I even stood all the way up on the board a few times! He was dedicated to making me feel confident on
This monthly event features the best of fine dining at Daytona’s oceanfront, and each dinner carefully cultivates each custom menu to pair fabulous food with flavorful drinks. This month’s focus was on Florida, featuring sustainable seafood, local produce and spirits from an award winning distillery in Jacksonville called Manifest. The theme for each month is centered around a locale such as the Pacific Northwest or South America. Before each course, the chefs and distillery
Made a stop yesterday at ActivAte Acai Bowls & Smoothie Café. They have the most delicious açai vegan ice cream! 🍦😍 They source local, fresh and organic ingredients. It’s perfect for people who eat dairy free, are vegan or vegetarian, or who just want some delicious açai. They also have bowls, smoothies, juice and coffee. The decor is adorable with a cute happy vibe, and great service. Overall you would love it! I got an açai cone with activated charcoal which makes the con
Had fun at @theescapegameorlando! Teams of up to eight people join forces for an hour of non stop puzzles, finding clues and solving them! There are a few different scenarios to choose from, such as the Gold Rush or a Mars Mission. Our scenario was the Heist, where we had to find a priceless Monet painting that had been stolen! We were down to the wire but we solved it and won the game! I don’t want to give too many spoilers away, but everyone contributed and it was a lot of
Had such a good time at @metrodiner yesterday!! I got the Pulled Pork Mac Stack, which is half a pound of pulled pork over homestyle mac and cheese on a cornbread batter waffle with maple butter. Best thing ever. They were also really good at catering to food allergies and my mom found something she could eat in the chicken and fries with some veggies. The salad was fresh and flavorful with plenty of dressing, and the onion rings were crispy without any grease. For drinks we
Had fun with the bf at @combatnightmma! Thank you @orlandoliveevents_ole for inviting me to May the Fourth Combat Night, a MMA event with a special Star Wars theme. Sitting up front on the comfy VIP couch seats puts you right up close to the action! The Orlando Live Events Center is right by Winter Park and Altamonte, and they host awesome events like carnivals, car shows, boxing, jiujitsu and MMA. Check out my Instagram Stories for clips of the evening’s matches! 🌟🎉🥊💫 #T
Had a fun time at @bocasgrill! Located in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando, it brings a taste of South America to the City Beautiful. The deep fried sweet corn with cheese and bacon and cachapa tower were phenomenal, and the towering Nutella churro milkshake was divinely good. They have many different kinds of arepas to choose from, and the Arepa burger, inspired by a cheeseburger, was a favorite dish made with beef, sausage and cheese, topped off with an aioli sauce. I tried
Enjoying the new Chocolate Cherry Cold Brew from @dunkin! The rich chocolatey flavor meshes well with the cherry and enhances the deep flavor of the cold brew. The slow cold brewing process takes twelve hours in small batches, and enhances the flavor of the coffee like a fine wine. Even better, right now a medium is only $2 from 2-6pm! Now is the perfect time to add Dunkin’s new Chocolate Cherry Cold Brew to your afternoon lifestyle. Definitely enjoying this coffee happy hour
Had an amazing time at @hi5pokeandsushi! A one of a kind family owned place that combines Japanese and Hawaiian style and cuisine, they are conveniently located in the IDrive district of Orlando. The Korean BBQ wings are one of their most popular dishes and I can see why, with its incredible flavor and spices. They have a really unique take on nachos with tuna, avocado and spicy sauce over wonton chips, which gave it a signature salty flavor. The tonkotsu ramen is a classic t
The food at @donjuliosmexican is phenomenal! Sitting outside gave such a nice atmosphere. The Mexican street corn was full of flavourful spices, cut by the creamy sauce poured over it, and served grilled and sizzling. The shrimp stuffed avocado was both healthy and delicious, I could eat that every day. In contrast, the fried ice cream was drool worthy and an amazing indulgent treat. Overall, would go again! The food at @littlegreekleevista is an authentic taste of Greece! You can find classic gyros, baklava, spanakopita, pita and hummus, and other classic dishes. They said that they source some of their ingredients from Tarpon Springs, Florida’s historic Greek town nearby Tampa. It’s one of my favorite less exposed places in Florida, and the food there is always phenomenal, so it makes perfect sense that they are connected! Now you can find a piece of Greece right here in Orland
The food at @sofritolatin is amazing! It’s a Venezuelan place close to Apopka Vineland area by Disney Springs. They have not only authentic Venezuelan food, but also dishes from Cuba, Argentina, and Colombia. Definitely very good. Thank you so much for having me for your food blogger media night!

Who’s excited for Spring Break? Thinking about St. Patty’s Day weekend with my man. We had some jacuzzi time featuring my @leus beach towel, made it back to CityWalk and did mini golf and donuts! How was your St. Patrick’s Day?

Captain Marvel opens today! I was invited to a special pre-release screening in IMAX, and it definitely exceeded expectations! I don't want to give away any spoilers, but Marvel fans will be pleased with this movie. At first I was a little worried that such a strong female character would be portrayed as a caricature, or be sexualized, or have some kind of makeover montage scene, but it was none of the above. Carol Danvers is a three dimensional American girl, with a matter o
Inspired by international street food, the Seven Seas Food Festival lets you sip and sample delicious selections from all around the world. The Brazilian, Asian and Caribbean stations all had food and drink that I would love to go back and try, such as bacon wrapped plantains, bao bun sandwiches or Jamaican patties. There are also Italian, Pacific, American and Vegan stations with a medley of good selections. The Frozen Lagoon Punch was good and very sweet. It reminded me of
Kiss Colors left my hair feeling even healthier than before! Their formula has collagen, aloe vera water, keratin, argan oil and other amazing ingredients to nourish your hair. In my experience as a beauty school graduate, this product is good! I’ve been wanting to go pink for a long time now, and I’ve got so many compliments on my new look! I chose the Pink Petal and Rose Gold colors, they also have blue, purple and even green to choose from. It was amazingly easy to apply.
Inside of the Animal Kingdom Lodge is Sanaa, an African restaurant with flavors of India. In parts of Africa, especially on the southeastern side, many people have moved there from India. They brought their traditions and food culture with them, and in the cuisine of modern Africa you experience a syncretization of traditional African foods, Indian food, and Afrikaans and English traditions. My mom and I ordered the Indian Bread Service, which features nine different spreads
